BON EVENT FELICITAS Diademed and draped bust of Bonus Eventus to right, wearing braided hair. Rev. PAX / P - R Two clasped right hands holding winged caduceus. BMC p. 290, * corr. = Cohen 393 corr. = Martin corr. = RIC 10 corr. (obverse legend misdescribed). CG 60.2 (this coin). Nicolas -. Smyth IX/3 corr. (this coin, but obverse legend misdescribed). Of the highest rarity, one of just three known examples. Beautifully toned and with a very old pedigree. Two test punches on the obverse and two tiny test cuts on the edge, otherwise, very fine.
